TIFF 2024 is coming to Toronto, and the intention is to generate excitement and prepare guests and audiences to come together in celebration of exceptional films and filmmaking. The campaign includes a magazine print advertisement, a commercial storyboard video concept, and an instagram advertisement which invites user interaction.
Objectives:
Create a visual voice concept iteration for a yearly event, and plan a variety of distinct yet harmonious advertisements in print, video, and digital forms; coordinate a team of creators to plan and execute the campaign deliverables
Skills:
Visual voice iterative design, linked advertisement creation and development plan, support consistent branding, generate audience curiosity and user interactions
Design Approach:
Red velvet, red lipstick... this is classic cinematic glamour. Pull back the curtain on the creative, but not too far - leave an air of mystery. Celebrities mingle with audiences as everyone comes together in celebration of the latest filmmaking in one of Canada’s creative hubs.

TIFF brings audiences and advertisers together as everyone gets ready for this exciting yearly event. Audiences influence which films will be produced for a broader audience, so appealing to the film buffs and cinema enthusiasts is vital. Each ad entices, yet reaches a unique demographic and audience group to ensure everyone can join in and enjoy the event together, supporting filmmakers, actors, producers, directors, and more through and beyond TIFF for years to come.
