Critical Activities Pack 1

In this package, I’ve included five project-based units. These tools can be used in isolation, or introduced and returned to again and again or over the four years a student may spend in secondary school, or that an adult learner may want to gain before tackling post-secondary studies. Designed to support critical thinking, writing, and practice, each unit will help to equip learners with the skills needed to move forward and continue tackling learning challenges with success! 
 
These materials are shared in this printable form - print on 8x5” x 11” pages, and share materials directly with learners for easy preparation! The planning included is designed to help teachers and learners unpack the concepts at play. There are also different versions of materials to scaffold learners, from beginning Grade 9s to mastery-focused Grade 12s and beyond. 
 
A special effort has been made with each of these tools to connect to collaborative options, learner choice, creativity, and other joys and practices related to the study of English language arts. Tap into the interactive options, and focus on enriching and supporting each learner - there are so many ways to use these tools, and to make sure instruction is a good fit for any and every learner.
