This study is designed to help learners identify, explore, defend, and uphold their personal values. This process may also be used by entrepreneurs or business-minded folk to develop their professional identities and defining brand value foundations.
This skill area is measured directly on the Alberta Education English Language Arts Critical Analytical and Literary Exploration rubrics, located in the Thought & Understanding and Thought & Support categories respectively, and directly linked to the Program of Studies GLO areas 2 and 4.
